The Ugly House with the Lavender Door

Hi my name is Kerri. My family and I just purchased our dream house. OK, well what will be our dream house. This blog is about turning the ugly house with the lavender door into the gorgeous house with the turquoise door. My wonderful husband Brent and I will be doing just about all the renovations ourselves while trying to stay on budget (Ok as close to budget as possible). We are not experts we are just a family with a dream.

About Me

My photo
Kerri Nori
I married my high school sweetheart Brent almost 9 years ago this summer. I will have lived longer with him in my life than without him. If you would have told me at age 15 that I would be married for 9 years this summer and would have two beautiful children with him I would have laughed. I never thought at 15 years old I would have found the love of my life. But 15 years later I know god knew then what I didn't, and that is Brent is more than the love of my life, he is my best friend. When we set out on this adventure we wanted a new house that had a great layout and location, location, location. We wanted the location to be closer for Brent to get to work without sacrificing any added distance from friends and family.
